Hi Chuck,Thanks for reaching out. We are here to help!Tweets often disappear after a certain time but are not gone forever. We have found that by using the Twitter owned alternative TweetDeck, we have seen it to be effective in seeing older Tweets that you are trying to locate. We ask that you try this platform to access your older Tweets that you are looking to delete or view. The other alternative is requesting your Twitter Archive. This can be done in the Settings menu. Please let us know if you have any other questions, or you can visit our Help Center or follow us at @TwitterSupport to see the latest updates. Thanks,NajaiTwitter Support
And this is my reply:
Thanks for your reply, Najai.
People tweet so that OTHER PEOPLE can see their tweets, not so they can see their own tweets. This is too obvious to need explaining. Me switching to Tweetdeck is not going to affect whether PEOPLE OTHER THAN ME can see my tweets. Hence, using Tweetdeck or viewing my Twitter archive, does not in any way, shape, or fashion address the problem I am asking for help with.
This is not a problem with my Twitter client.
I want my tweets reindexed so that they will be visible TO OTHER PEOPLE when they search.
NEARLY ALL my tweets do not appear in search results when they ought to. ALL of the tweets made by OTHER PEOPLE with a similar number of tweets who started around the same time as me and have as many tweets as I have or far more show in search results, every single one of them. I want my tweets restored to normal visibility just like others.
There are two explanations for nearly all my tweets not appearing in search results: either there has been a malfunction in Twitter's hardware or software, or I have been punished for some alleged violation of Twitter's rules that I have not been told about by Twitter and can thus do nothing to correct or explain.
If you are unable to get ALL of my tweets to appear in search results exactly like nearly every single other Twitter user's tweets do, please escalate this case to a higher support level or transfer me to someone who can understand the problem and not provide suggestions that do not address the problem at all such as me getting a copy of my Twitter archive, which I already have, or me switching to Tweetdeck.
Cordially,
Chuck Baggett
@ ChuckBaggett
This is a problem that has happened to thousands of other Twitter users and been fixed a nearly equal number of times. I am certain this can be solved by person who knows how typing a few characters and doing a few mouse clicks.
If anyone can help me get my tweets restored to visibility in Twitter search results, please contact on Twitter where I'm @ChuckBaggett. Thanks for reading.
